The Watchung Arts Center presents "Classicals at the Circle" with members of the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra and friends performing "Music of Friends," an afternoon of chamber music featuring trio for piano, horn and violin; sextet for clarinets, bassoons and horns; and the guitar and flute duo of Leighann Narum, classical guitarist, and Sara J. A performance with Gotham Scholars, a 16-voice chamber choir in NYC, Mark Kaczmarczyk, Founder/Artistic Director. The concert, entitled "Waging Peace," the poet's and people's response to war, features guitarist Leighann Narum performing "A Procession Winding Around Me" by Composer/Guitarist Jeffrey Van. This beautiful work, for mixed choir and classical guitar, is set to four civil war poems by Walt Whitman.
